KULI ("we", "us") helps people in the Maldives rent homes with clear prices and verified landlords. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using KULI you agree to this policy.
We use your information solely to operate KULI: to publish verified listings, connect renters with landlords, review submissions, prevent fraud, and improve the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
KULI uses Google Identity Services for authentication. When you sign in with Google, your session data (name and email) is stored only in your browser's session storage and is automatically cleared when you close your browser. We do not store Google credentials or access tokens on any server. For more information about how Google handles your data, see Google's Privacy Policy.
We take the security of your information seriously. Verification documents (IDs, ownership proof) are reviewed by our team and then permanently deleted — they are never shown publicly or shared with other users. We use secure connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission.

Renters and landlords contact each other directly through the details shown on a listing. We only share information where it is strictly necessary to provide the service (e.g. WhatsApp contact on a listing) or where required by Maldivian law.
KULI uses browser local storage only to remember your saved listings ("favourites"). No tracking cookies or advertising pixels are used. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics services that track you across websites.
You have the right to: access a copy of your data, correct inaccurate information, withdraw consent, and request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@kuli.mv. We will respond within 48 hours.
KULI is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of KULI after changes means you accept the updated policy.
